Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Beverly, Lynn, Peabody, Salem, Gloucester, Danvers, Haverhill, Massachusetts, and surrounding areas. Veterinarians provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules, an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day, and the opportunity to practice independently while remaining connected to a veterinarian-founded organization and a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. Support includes comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities are available for two days per week, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000, bonus opportunities, and benefits. Schedules of three, four, and five days per week are also described, with compensation details available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Subject to a background check and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.
