About The Position

Lap of Love is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving the Mid-Hudson Valley, New York, including Warwick, Middletown, Port Jervis, Monroe, Newburgh, New Windsor, New City, and surrounding areas. The role provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The position offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day. Veterinarians receive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Two-day-per-week opportunities offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $65,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Candidates must complete a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
