Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Royal Oak, Detroit, Warren, Clinton Township, Macomb, Sterling Heights, Michigan, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four unrushed appointments per day. Veterinarians work independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Two-day-per-week opportunities offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation for three-, four-, and five-day schedules is available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Must pass a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.
Responsibilities

- Travel to appointments in the listed Michigan service areas.
