About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Joliet, Kankakee, New Lenox, Bourbonnais, Plainfield, Frankfort, and surrounding areas in Illinois. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. The role offers flexible scheduling, with an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day, and includes comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities are available for two days per week, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $40,000 plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Full-time schedules of three, four, or five days per week are also mentioned, with compensation details available upon request.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.
