About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in Charlotte, Waxhaw, Concord, Matthews, Huntersville, Monroe, North Carolina, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian-founded and owned organization offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, emphasizing professional fulfillment, personal freedom, and a supportive culture. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week and an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Two-day-per-week opportunities offer a guaranteed base salary of $55,000 annually, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.
