Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Cleveland, Parma, Lakewood, Mentor, Chagrin Falls, Westlake, Ohio, and surrounding areas. Lap of Love is veterinarian-founded and owned and offers an alternative to in-clinic practice. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in meaningful end-of-life moments. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week and an average of three to four unrushed appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Two-day-per-week positions have a guaranteed annual base salary of $45,000 plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
