About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care to pets and their families in Wilkes-Barre, Dallas, Clarks Summit, Glen Summit, Scranton, Mountain Top, Pittston, Pennsylvania, and surrounding areas. The role offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with flexible schedules of two to five days per week and an average of three to four appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time, two-day-per-week opportunities offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $45,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Must pass a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.

Responsibilities
