Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time Mobile Veterinarian serving Northern Virginia, including Alexandria, Herndon, Arlington, Fairfax, Falls Church, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes, working independently while remaining connected to a community of veterinarians and support professionals. The role includes comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities are available for two days per week, with an average of three to four appointments per day. The stated guaranteed annual base salary for the two-day-per-week opportunity is $65,000, with bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates must complete a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
