About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a full-time mobile veterinarian serving North Dallas, Texas, including Coppell, McKinney, Denton, Carrollton, Frisco, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. The role offers flexible schedules, typically with 3–5 workdays per week, and an average of 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Full-time opportunities are available for 3-, 4-, and 5-day schedules, with part-time opportunities also available. Compensation varies by schedule: 4-day positions start at $107,500, and 5-day positions offer a $130,000 base salary, plus bonus opportunities. Three-day full-time and part-time positions offer prorated compensation. The position includes a guaranteed base salary with no negative accrual.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
