About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian in North Dallas, Texas, including Coppell, McKinney, Denton, Carrollton, Frisco, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families at home. The role offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with flexible schedules, an average of three to four appointments per day, and support from a community of veterinarians and support professionals. The position includes comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities are available on a two-day-per-week schedule, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000 plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Subject to a post-hire background check and motor vehicle record check before the associated start date.
