Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Fort Worth, Arlington, Keller, North Richland Hills, Benbrook, Colleyville, Crowley, Azle, Texas, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week and an average of three to four un-rushed appointments per day. Veterinarians work independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals, with comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, experienced leaders available for support, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Two-day-per-week opportunities offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for full-time schedules of three, four, or five days per week are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Subject to a background check and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hospice care for pets and their families.
- Provide euthanasia care for pets and their families in meaningful end-of-life moments.
- Travel to appointments in the assigned service area.
