Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Wilmington, Leland, Southport, Hampstead, Oak Island, Rocky Point, North Carolina, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care to pets and their families in their homes. This role offers a mobile alternative to in-clinic practice, with an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day and flexible schedules of two to five days per week. The position includes comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities are available at two days per week with a guaranteed annual base salary of $40,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS.
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
