Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Delaware County, Pennsylvania, including Media, Drexel Hill, Havertown, Springfield, Bryn Mawr, Newtown Square, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible scheduling, typically two to five days per week, with an average of three to four appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving onboarding, mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. The two-day-per-week opportunity offers a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000 plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for full-time schedules are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
- Travel to appointments throughout the assigned service area.
- Work some weekends.
