About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Charlotte, Waxhaw, Concord, Matthews, Huntersville, Monroe, North Carolina, and surrounding areas. Veterinarians provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with flexible schedules, an average of three to four unrushed appointments per day, and opportunities to practice independently while remaining connected to a community of veterinarians and support professionals. Lap of Love provides comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities are available at two days per week, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000 plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for full-time schedules of three, four, or five days per week are available upon request.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Candidates will be subject to a post-hire background and motor vehicle record check before their associated start date.
