About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time Mobile Veterinarian serving Daytona Beach, Florida, including Palm Coast, Ormond Beach, DeLand, Port Orange, Deltona, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities are available for a two-day-per-week schedule, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $45,000, bonus opportunities, and benefits. Compensation details for full-time schedules of three, four, or five days per week are available upon request.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent (DVM/VMD/BVMS).
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
