Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking a part-time Mobile Veterinarian serving Savannah, Richmond Hill, Pooler, Guyton, Rincon, Bloomingdale, Georgia, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week and averages three to four un-rushed appointments per day. Lap of Love is veterinarian-founded and owned, and supports mobile veterinarians with comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Two-day-per-week opportunities offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $40,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates must undergo a background check and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
