About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Yardley, Buckingham, Newtown, Quakertown, Bristol, New Hope, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes, offering an alternative to traditional in-clinic practice. The role is designed to support professional fulfillment and personal balance, with flexible schedules of two to five days per week and an average of three to four unrushed appointments per day. The veterinarian works independently in the field while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. Lap of Love provides comprehensive onboarding, ongoing training, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, dedicated practice managers, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities are available at two days per week, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000, bonus opportunities, and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
