About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Pensacola, Florida, including Navarre, Gulf Breeze, Cantonment, Gonzalez, Bellview, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible scheduling, typically 2–5 days per week, and an average of 3–4 unrushed appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving onboarding, mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities are available at two days per week, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $40,000 plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for full-time schedules of three, four, or five days per week are available upon request.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS).
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
Conduct mobile, in-home veterinary appointments in the assigned service area.
