Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, including Bethlehem, Easton, Nazareth, Macungie, Emmaus, East Stroudsburg, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian-founded and owned organization offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with an emphasis on professional fulfillment, personal freedom, and a supportive culture. The role involves an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day. Veterinarians work independently in the field while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals, with comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, experienced leaders available for support, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Flexible schedules are available for two to five days per week. Part-time opportunities at two days per week offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $45,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for full-time schedules are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in clients’ homes.
- Conduct an average of three to four appointments per day.
