Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, including Bethlehem, Easton, Nazareth, Macungie, Emmaus, East Stroudsburg, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with flexible scheduling and an average of three to four un-rushed appointments per day. Veterinarians work independently in the field while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. Lap of Love provides comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities are available for two days per week, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $45,000 plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
- Serve clients in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, including Bethlehem, Easton, Nazareth, Macungie, Emmaus, East Stroudsburg, and surrounding areas.
