Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time Associate Veterinarian to provide mobile hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in Providence, Warwick, Cranston, Cumberland, Pawtucket, Tiverton, Rhode Island, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian-founded and owned organization offers an alternative to in-clinic practice, with a focus on compassionate care, professional fulfillment, and personal freedom. The role includes an average of three to four unrushed appointments per day. Veterinarians work independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals, with comprehensive onboarding, ongoing training, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time opportunities are available on a two-day-per-week schedule, with a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000, bonus opportunities, and benefits. Three-, four-, and five-day full-time compensation details are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates will be subject to a post-hire background and motor vehicle record check before their associated start date.
Responsibilities
