About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in Baltimore, Maryland, including Annapolis, Pasadena, Glen Burnie, Severna Park, Edgewater, and surrounding areas. The role offers an alternative to traditional in-clinic practice, with a focus on meaningful, unhurried appointments and a schedule designed to support personal well-being. Veterinarians average 3–4 appointments per day and practice independently while remaining connected to a community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. The company provides onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time schedules of 2–5 days per week are available. The 2-day-per-week opportunity offers a guaranteed annual base salary of $65,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for 3-, 4-, and 5-day schedules are available upon request. Full-time team members are eligible for additional benefits.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
Conduct mobile veterinary appointments in the Baltimore, Maryland area and surrounding communities.
