About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Salt Lake City, Sandy, West Jordan, South Jordan, West Valley City, Murray, Herriman, Utah, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules, typically two to five days per week, and an average of three to four unhurried appointments per day. Lap of Love is veterinarian-founded and owned and supports its mobile veterinarians with comprehensive onboarding, ongoing training, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. The role includes a guaranteed base salary with no negative accrual and bonus opportunities. Part-time opportunities are available at two days per week; compensation information for full-time schedules is available upon request.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), VMD, or BVMS degree.
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Subject to a background check and motor vehicle record check after hire and before the associated start date.
