About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Toledo, Ohio, including Perrysburg, Bowling Green, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes. The role offers flexible schedules, typically two to five days per week, and an average of three to four appointments per day. Veterinarians practice independently while receiving comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and support from a 24/7/365 Support Center. The two-day-per-week opportunity offers a guaranteed annual base salary of $45,000, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for full-time schedules are available upon request.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Candidates are subject to post-hire background and motor vehicle record checks before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families.
Travel to appointments in Toledo, Perrysburg, Bowling Green, and surrounding areas.
Work some weekends.
