Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian
About The Position
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is hiring a part-time mobile veterinarian serving Delaware County, Pennsylvania, including Media, Drexel Hill, Havertown, Springfield, Bryn Mawr, Newtown Square, and surrounding areas. The veterinarian provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families in their homes, practicing independently while remaining connected to a community of veterinarians and support professionals. The role offers flexible schedules of two to five days per week, with an average of three to four appointments per day. Support includes comprehensive onboarding, personalized mentorship, access to experienced leaders, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Two-day-per-week positions offer a guaranteed annual base salary of $55,000 plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Compensation details for three-, four-, and five-day schedules are available upon request.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent (DVM, VMD, or BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Candidates are subject to a background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before their associated start date.
