About The Position

RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is hiring a Mobile Trailer Mechanic to serve the Blue Springs, Missouri area. The role is suited to an experienced Mobile Trailer Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic with trailer mechanic experience and a strong understanding of semi-trailer diagnostics and repair. The successful candidate is self-motivated, safety-minded, and able to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers. This is an outdoor, mobile service-truck position. The mechanic inspects, diagnoses, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains trailer systems and components, while following safety requirements when servicing trailers and driving the service truck. RSS Mobile Trailer Repair has been in business for over 32 years and has nearly 400 team members across 17 states. Requirements

Trailer mechanic experience.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Self-motivated and safety-minded, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.

Nice To Haves

Diesel mechanic experience with trailer mechanic experience.

Responsibilities

Inspect and diagnose all trailer systems.
Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components.
Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and parts, including ABS, frames, bodies, doors, tires, and electrical systems.
Provide top-notch service as an independently motivated professional.
Maintain positive working relationships with customers.
Properly operate the mobile service truck.
Follow all safety requirements while servicing trailers and driving the service truck.
