About The Position

Amerit Fleet Solutions is hiring a Mobile Trailer Technician/Mechanic in San Antonio, Texas, to maintain and repair fleet vehicles. The role involves diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, inspecting vehicles for safety and compliance, documenting work, and supporting fleet operations. The position pays $25.00–$35.00 per hour based on experience, with weekly pay every Friday. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Requirements

At least 1 year of hands-on experience performing diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role.
Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including a drug screen and DOT physical if required.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium- to heavy-duty fleet vehicles.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards.
Accurately document repairs and complete work orders.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and equipment.
Follow safety procedures and company policies.
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations.
