About The Position

APPS Paramedical is seeking quality medical professionals to complete insurance physical exams in the Bainbridge/Poulsbo/Kingston areas. These exams are for individuals applying for life, health, or disability insurance products. The role involves performing mobile exams in the client's home or office, which may include blood draws, medical histories, vital signs, saliva samples, and 12-lead EKGs. Independent contractors are expected to be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized, working with minimal supervision while adhering to compliance, safety, accuracy, and confidentiality policies. Exams can range from 15 minutes to over an hour.

Requirements

  • Actively practicing phlebotomy with a minimum of 1 year of work experience.
  • Trained in manual blood pressure and pulse collection.
  • Familiarity with tablets/computers.
  • Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant state certification is required.
  • Reliable vehicle with a valid state driver's License and Auto Insurance.
  • References will be checked.
  • Background check will be conducted.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual applicants are encouraged.
  • Preferred experience with pediatric and geriatric patients/home health.
  • EKG experience is preferred, but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalency is preferred.
