About The Position

APPS Paramedical is seeking quality medical professionals to complete insurance physicals on a mobile basis. These exams are for individuals applying for life, health, or disability insurance products. The role involves visiting clients in their homes or offices to conduct various assessments, including blood draws, medical histories, vital signs, and potentially EKGs. The company emphasizes the need for self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized individuals who can work with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Actively practicing phlebotomy with a minimum of 1 year of work experience.
• Trained in manual blood pressure and pulse collection.
• Familiarity with tablets/computers.
• Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant state certification is required.
• Reliable vehicle with a valid state driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• References will be checked.
• Background check will be conducted.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual applicants are encouraged.
• Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients/home health.
• EKG experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete insurance physicals on a mobile basis in the home or office of the client.
• Perform blood draws, take medical histories, and record vital signs.
• Collect saliva samples and administer 12 lead EKGs as required by exam.
• Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in gathering client information.
• Adhere to all compliance, safety policies, and procedures.
