About The Position

APPS Paramedical is seeking quality medical professionals to complete insurance physicals on a mobile basis in the Monroe/Sultan area. These exams are for individuals applying for life, health, or disability insurance products. The role involves performing blood draws, taking medical histories, recording vital signs, collecting saliva samples, and conducting 12-lead EKGs. Exams are conducted in the client's home or office and can last from 15 minutes to over an hour. Independent contractors are expected to be self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision, adhering to compliance, safety, accuracy, and confidentiality policies.

Requirements

  • Actively practicing phlebotomy with a minimum of 1 year of work experience.
  • Trained in manual blood pressure and pulse collection.
  • Familiarity with tablets/computers.
  • Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant state certification is required.
  • Reliable vehicle with a valid state driver's License and Auto Insurance.
  • References will be checked.
  • Background check will be conducted.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual applicants are encouraged.
  • Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients/home health.
  • EKG experience is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalency is preferred.
