About The Position

APPS Paramedical is seeking quality medical professionals to complete insurance physicals in the Olympia/Tumwater/Lacey Area. These exams are for individuals applying for life, health, or disability insurance products. The role involves performing exams on a mobile basis in the client's home or office, which may include blood draws, medical histories, vital signs, saliva samples, and 12-lead EKGs. Independent contractors (ICs) must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision, adhering to compliance, safety, accuracy, and confidentiality policies. Exams can range from 15 minutes to over an hour.

Requirements

  • Actively practicing phlebotomy with a minimum of 1 year of work experience.
  • Trained in manual blood pressure and pulse collection.
  • Familiarity with tablets/computers.
  • Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant state certification is required.
  • Reliable vehicle with a valid state driver's License and Auto Insurance.
  • References will be checked.
  • Background check will be conducted.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual applicants are encouraged.
  • Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients/home health.
  • EKG experience is preferred, but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalency.

Responsibilities

  • Complete insurance physicals on a mobile basis.
