Part-Time Mobile Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist
About The Position
APPS Paramedical is seeking a Mobile Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist in the Gig Harbor Area to complete insurance physicals for individuals applying for life, health, or disability insurance products. This role involves performing exams on a mobile basis in the client's home or office, which may include blood draws, medical histories, vital signs, saliva samples, and 12-lead EKGs. The position requires self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized individuals who can work with minimal supervision, adhering to compliance, safety, accuracy, and confidentiality policies. Exams can range from 15 minutes to over an hour.
Requirements
- Actively practicing phlebotomy with a minimum of 1 year of work experience.
- Trained in manual blood pressure and pulse collection.
- Familiarity with tablets/computers.
- Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant state certification is required.
- Reliable vehicle with a valid state driver's License and Auto Insurance.
- References will be checked.
- Background check will be conducted.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual applicants are encouraged.
- Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients/home health.
- EKG experience is preferred, but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalency is preferred.
Responsibilities
