About The Position

Clarke is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician to perform onsite maintenance and repairs while supporting the company’s commitment to safety and customer service. The technician operates a mobile service truck daily, which may be taken home, and works at customers’ locations. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday on the day shift, with a potential on-call rotation every four weeks. Requirements

• Preventive maintenance service background required.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card.
• Good computer skills and verbal communication skills.
• Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Able to move frequently, stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• Able to read and write reports.

Nice To Haves

• Certificate or degree from a diesel program preferred.
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus.
• ASE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair engines, drivetrains, steering, electrical systems, suspension, and brakes.
• Troubleshoot and inspect vehicles and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Perform onsite maintenance and repairs at customer locations.
• Operate a mobile service truck daily.
• Implement and enforce health and safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions.
• Read and write reports.
• Work independently.
