About The Position
Cox Fleet is seeking motivated individuals to join their FleeTec Academy program, a paid educational initiative designed to train aspiring technicians to become full-time Diesel Technicians. This program offers comprehensive training, including a set of hand tools and a toolbox, without the burden of traditional technical school tuition debt. Upon completion of the initial classroom phase, participants will receive hands-on training with a Lead Technician and be offered a full-time position as a Mobile Diesel Mechanic. The role involves performing preventative maintenance and general repairs at customer locations using a state-of-the-art mobile vehicle. The company emphasizes a clear career path with opportunities for raises and continued skill development through further classroom study.
Requirements
- Willingness and ability to study hard for five weeks of full-time schooling.
- Dedication to being away from home for 10 weeks for training.
- Maturity to focus on the task at hand.
- Technical aptitude and a passion for fixing vehicles.
- Ability to operate an iPad.
- Must be 21 years of age to drive a company truck.
- Willingness to undergo background checks, driving records checks, pre-employment drug testing, and physical examinations.

Responsibilities
- Attend and actively participate in a five-week full-time schooling program at the Academy Campus.
