Mixer Operator (CDL Mixer Driver) – Ready Mix Concrete - Blairsville
About The Position
SRM Concrete is hiring a Mixer Operator to transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential construction sites. The role involves operating a concrete mixer truck with a Class A or Class B CDL, meeting concrete specifications and quality standards, and representing the company through professional, customer-focused service. Operators are home after every shift and work consistent local routes; the company is closed Sundays. The position also includes vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks, following DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols, maintaining delivery and vehicle records, coordinating with dispatch and plant teams, and helping with general plant or yard duties as needed. Prior mixer or construction-delivery experience is a plus, but motivated newcomers are welcome. Requirements
- Active Class A or Class B CDL.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Proven safe driving record and commitment to safety.
- Strong commitment to customer service and representing SRM’s values.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds, climb ladders or stairs, and work in all weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive, go-getter attitude.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to complete SRM’s pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities
- Operate a concrete mixer truck to safely transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential job sites.
- Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet precise specifications and quality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent SRM Concrete professionally at job sites.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks.
- Follow DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records using company systems.
- Coordinate with dispatch and plant teams for efficient scheduling and routing.
- Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.
