About The Position

SRM Concrete is hiring a Mixer Operator to transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential construction sites. The operator represents the company at job sites, providing professional, customer-focused service and ensuring deliveries are timely, accurate, and handled safely. The role includes operating and inspecting a concrete mixer truck, coordinating with dispatch and plant teams, maintaining records, and assisting with plant or yard duties as needed. Operators are home after each shift, follow local routes, and do not work Sundays. Previous mixer or construction-delivery experience is a plus, but motivated newcomers are welcome to learn.

Requirements

• Active Class A or Class B CDL.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Proven safe driving record and commitment to safety.
• Strong commitment to customer service and representing SRM’s values.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs, climb ladders and stairs, and work in all weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive, go-getter attitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to complete SRM’s pre-employment screenings.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Mixer Operator, Ready Mix Driver, or in construction delivery.

Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck to safely transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential job sites.
• Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent SRM Concrete professionally at job sites.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks.
• Follow DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records using company systems.
• Coordinate scheduling and routing with dispatch and plant teams.
• Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.
