About The Position

SRM Concrete is hiring Mixer Operators to transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential construction sites. The role represents SRM at job sites and requires safe, accurate, timely deliveries, concrete quality checks, and professional customer service. Operators are home after every shift and follow local routes. The position may also assist with general plant or yard duties. SRM Concrete is a family-owned ready mix concrete company founded in 1999, with more than 600 locations nationwide.

Requirements

• Active Class A or Class B CDL.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Proven safe driving record and commitment to safety.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service and representing SRM’s values.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds, climb ladders or stairs, and work in all weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive, proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to complete SRM’s pre-employment screenings.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Mixer Operator, Ready Mix Driver, or in construction delivery; motivated newcomers willing to learn are also welcome.

Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck to safely transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential job sites.
• Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent SRM Concrete professionally at job sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks.
• Follow DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records using company systems.
• Coordinate scheduling and routing with dispatch and plant teams.
• Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.
