About The Position

SRM Concrete is hiring Mixer Operators to safely transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential construction sites. Operators represent the company at job sites and are expected to provide professional, timely, accurate, and customer-focused service. The role includes loading, mixing, and inspecting concrete to meet specifications, maintaining vehicle safety and records, coordinating with dispatch and plant teams, and assisting with plant or yard duties as needed. Operators are home after each shift and do not work Sundays.

Requirements

• Active Class A or Class B CDL and current DOT Medical Card.
• Proven safe driving record and commitment to safety.
• Strong commitment to customer service and representing SRM’s values.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs, climb ladders or stairs, and work in all weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive, go-getter attitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to complete SRM’s pre-employment screenings.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Mixer Operator, Ready Mix Driver, or in construction delivery.

Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck to safely transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential job sites.
• Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent SRM Concrete professionally at job sites.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks.
• Follow DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records using company systems.
• Coordinate with dispatch and plant teams for scheduling and routing.
• Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.
