About The Position

SRM Concrete is hiring Mixer Operators to transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential construction sites. The role is customer-facing and requires safe, timely, accurate deliveries, professional conduct at job sites, and attention to concrete specifications and quality standards. Operators are home after every shift and work local routes. SRM is a family-owned ready mix concrete company founded in 1999, with more than 600 locations nationwide.

Requirements

• Active Class A or Class B CDL.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Proven safe driving record and commitment to safety.
• Strong commitment to customer service and representing SRM’s values.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs, climb ladders or stairs, and work in all weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to complete SRM’s pre-employment screenings.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Mixer Operator, Ready Mix Driver, or in construction delivery.

Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck using a Class A or Class B CDL to safely transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential job sites.
• Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent SRM Concrete professionally at job sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks.
• Follow DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records using company systems.
• Coordinate scheduling and routing with dispatch and plant teams.
• Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.
