About The Position

SRM Concrete is hiring a Mixer Operator to transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential construction sites. The role operates a concrete mixer truck, loads and mixes concrete to specifications, and represents the company through professional, customer-focused service. Operators perform vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks, follow safety requirements, maintain records, and coordinate with dispatch and plant teams. They may also assist with general plant or yard duties. Operators are home after each shift, and the company is closed every Sunday.

Requirements

• Active Class A or Class B CDL.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Proven safe driving record and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds, climb ladders and stairs, and work in all weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to complete SRM's pre-employment screenings.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Mixer Operator, Ready Mix Driver, or in construction delivery.

Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck to safely transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential job sites.
• Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent SRM Concrete professionally at job sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks.
• Follow DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records using company systems.
• Coordinate scheduling and routing with dispatch and plant teams.
• Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.
