Mixer Operator (CDL Mixer Driver) – Ready Mix Concrete - Myrtle Beach, SC
About The Position
SRM Concrete is hiring a Mixer Operator to transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential construction sites in the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina area. The role requires a Class A or Class B CDL and a current DOT Medical Card. Operators represent SRM Concrete at job sites and are expected to make timely, accurate deliveries while providing professional, customer-focused service. Drivers are home after every shift, work local routes, and do not work Sundays. The position includes loading, mixing, and inspecting concrete to meet specifications; conducting vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks; following DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols; maintaining delivery and vehicle records; coordinating with dispatch and plant teams; and assisting with general plant or yard duties as needed. The role requires physical ability to lift or carry up to 100 pounds, climb ladders or stairs, and work in all weather conditions. Previous mixer-operator, ready-mix driving, or construction-delivery experience is a plus, but motivated newcomers are welcome to learn. Requirements
- Active Class A or Class B CDL.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Proven safe driving record and commitment to safety.
- Strong commitment to customer service and representing SRM Concrete’s values.
- Ability to lift or carry up to 100 pounds, climb ladders or stairs, and work in all weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to complete SRM’s pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities
- Operate a concrete mixer truck with a Class A or Class B CDL to safely transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential job sites.
- Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet precise specifications and quality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service at job sites and represent SRM Concrete professionally.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks to support vehicle safety and compliance.
- Follow DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records using company systems.
- Coordinate with dispatch and plant teams for efficient scheduling and routing.
- Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.
