About The Position

Appleton Veterinary Clinic, located in Appleton, Minnesota, is seeking a Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join their team. This is a well-established, community-focused practice that provides high-quality care for animals of all sizes and species. The clinic offers a mix of small and large animal medicine, exotic pet care, and works with local wildlife rescues. Emergency care is a significant part of the practice, and they are looking for a veterinarian comfortable with or eager to learn urgent cases. The practice is equipped with digital X-ray, in-house labs, Zoetis Imagyst, ultrasound, a mobile cattle chute, and a haul-in facility. The role offers the opportunity to practice both general practice and urgent care, working with small, large, equine, exotics, and wildlife. Personalized, 1-on-1 mentorship is provided, and licenses, dues, and memberships are paid in full. New graduates and experienced DVMs are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
Comfortable with or eager to learn urgent and emergency cases.
Willingness to develop skills in surgery, emergency medicine, and mixed animal medicine.
Ability to work in a rural community setting.
Strong work ethic and passion for veterinary medicine.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work alongside a supportive team.

Responsibilities

Provide veterinary care for a mix of small and large animals, including exotics and wildlife.
