About The Position
Elk Park Animal Hospital is seeking a Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join their longstanding community fixture, which is one of the largest and busiest facilities in the area. The hospital offers essential services five days a week, including on-call and mobile assistance for large animals and emergencies. Their comprehensive services encompass digital radiology, cold laser therapy, orthopedic surgery, dentistry, cutting-edge diagnostics, and a complete pharmacy. They also provide Chinese medicine, acupuncture, physical therapy, and herbal medicine. The practice type is mixed animal, with an average daily patient volume of 12 and a support staff ratio of 3:1. The case mix includes wellness, surgery, dentistry, with a majority small animal caseload.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university (required)

Responsibilities
- Provide essential services five days a week.
- Offer on-call and mobile assistance for large animals and emergencies.
- Perform digital radiology, cold laser therapy, orthopedic surgery, and dentistry.
- Conduct cutting-edge diagnostics.
- Dispense medications from a complete pharmacy.
- Administer Chinese medicine, acupuncture, physical therapy, and herbal medicine.
- Manage a caseload with a majority of small animals, alongside wellness, surgery, and dentistry cases.
