Exciting Mixed-Animal Opportunity in northeast Nebraska! Come join an established, multi-doctor mixed-animal practice that has built a reputation of excellence and innovation! Nebraska Vet Services is a fast-paced, true mixed-animal practice in northeast Nebraska with 11 DVMs. Our team provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and production care for patients and clients. Our large-animal veterinarians focus on food animal medicine, dairy, swine, embryo transfer, and related production services. We practice progressive, high-quality medicine in a culture that values hard work and lasting relationships — with support that allows you to grow professionally and personally. We believe great veterinary medicine is rooted in community, teamwork, and legacy. This role is primarily focused on large-animal medicine, with opportunities to support small-animal care as needed. Services we provide: Diagnostic Lab Services & Interpretation, Digital Radiography, Beef & Pork Quality Assurance Initiatives, Reproductive Evaluation & Consultation, Embryo Transfer for Cows, Goats & Sheep, Production Animal Services, Herd Health Consults, Emergency & Critical Care, Pet Wellness Services, Surgical Care Services, Preventative Care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and production care for patients and clients.
  • Focus on food animal medicine, dairy, swine, embryo transfer, and related production services.
  • Practice progressive, high-quality medicine.
  • Support small-animal care as needed.
  • Perform diagnostic lab services & interpretation.
  • Utilize digital radiography.
  • Engage in Beef & Pork Quality Assurance Initiatives.
  • Conduct reproductive evaluation & consultation.
  • Perform embryo transfer for cows, goats & sheep.
  • Provide production animal services.
  • Offer herd health consults.
  • Handle emergency & critical care.
  • Provide pet wellness services.
  • Perform surgical care services.
  • Offer preventative care.
