About The Position
Dawson Veterinary Clinic, located in Dawson, Minnesota, is seeking a Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join their team. This well-established, community-focused practice provides high-quality care to animals of all sizes and species. The ideal candidate is passionate about making a difference in a rural community, enjoys a mix of small and large animal medicine, and desires to work with a supportive team that values growth, learning, and compassion. Both new graduates and experienced DVMs are encouraged to apply. The clinic offers a dual-hospital experience, rotating between Dawson and Appleton Veterinary Clinic, providing a diverse caseload including small animals, large animals, equine, exotics, and wildlife. The practice is equipped with digital X-ray, in-house labs, Zoetis Imagyst, ultrasound, a mobile cattle chute, and a haul-in facility. The role involves both general practice and urgent care, with an emphasis on handling urgent cases.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
- Comfortable with or eager to learn urgent case handling.
- Willingness to rotate between two clinic locations.
- Eagerness to develop skills in surgery, emergency medicine, and mixed animal medicine.

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical care to a variety of animal species, including small, large, equine, exotics, and wildlife.
