About The Position

A Mitigation and Restoration Laborer serves people in the community after property disasters by helping mitigate flood and fire damage and complete related restoration projects. The role calls for hard work, pride in completed projects, empathy, urgency, and clear communication using modern technology. Work is performed according to Paul Davis and industry specifications under the supervision of the Mitigation Manager. The position also includes maintaining equipment and trucks, helping with warehouse and facility tasks, and supporting teammates as needed.

Requirements

Have a valid driver's license with a clean record.
Be able to work nights, weekends, and overtime if needed.
Be able to lift 75 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

Perform water mitigation, tarping, board-up, mold remediation, asbestos and lead abatement, debris removal, contents cleaning, and carpet cleaning and reinstallation according to company and industry specifications.
Provide excellent customer service to people affected by property disasters.
Maintain a clean, properly stocked, and organized truck and maintain company equipment.
Be accessible by phone and participate in the on-call schedule as necessary.
Assist with warehousing and facility-related tasks when needed.
Support other team members and act as a leader for the team when needed.
