Millwright Foreman
About The Position
Conewago is accepting applications for experienced millwright and pipe foremen to lead crews on a variety of millwright installations, including process equipment, equipment packages, stand piping, rooftop installations, and threaded pipe such as gas piping or rigid conduit serving regional infrastructure. The role involves commercial millwright work and pipe foreman responsibilities on large industrial projects. The company is willing to provide comprehensive training to the right candidate. The position supports projects across Southern Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland. Most work is scheduled during regular daytime hours, with occasional overtime or off-shift work to support facility shutdowns, maintenance activities, and critical project milestones. Compensation is based on experience, leadership ability, and technical expertise. Benefits begin after a 45-day orientation period. A company vehicle is provided if hired at the Foreman level.
Requirements
- Experienced tradesperson in commercial millwright work and/or pipe foreman work on large industrial projects.
- Pride in quality workmanship, ability to solve complex installation challenges, and readiness to lead crews.
- Commitment to quality and safety.
- Can-Do attitude toward challenges.
- Creative problem-solving in the field.
Nice To Haves
- Pump alignment experience.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
Responsibilities
- Lead millwright crews during equipment installations and shutdowns.
- Coordinate work activities with project managers and superintendents.
- Mentor apprentice and junior trades personnel.
- Assist with project layouts and installation planning.
- Maintain quality and safety standards on site.
