Millwright
About The Position
The Millwright installs, maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots rotating equipment, including natural gas turbines; centrifugal, reciprocating, and axial-flow compressors; vertical and horizontal pumps; blowers, fans, expanders, electric motors, and generators. The role requires knowledge of vibration analysis, machine shop operations, and precision machinery alignment techniques. The Millwright works with operations and maintenance teams on equipment repairs, including mechanical seal replacement, installation and alignment of rotating equipment, and repairs to fans, blowers, compressors, and pumps.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to replace mechanical seals, align equipment, and troubleshoot problems in various types of rotating equipment.
- Experience or ability working with pumps, turbines, compressors, fans, and gearboxes.
- Valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Millwright training school experience.
- Training in mechanical seals, vibration analysis, or equipment alignment.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot rotating equipment.

- Replace mechanical seals and install and align rotating equipment.
- Repair fans and blowers, as well as reciprocating, centrifugal, and screw compressors and pumps.
- Apply basic rigging and flagging knowledge.
