About The Position
Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. seeks a Millwright Foreman for a project in De Soto, KS. This role involves performing installation, rigging, millwrighting, and maintenance for manufacturing and industrial markets. Hired candidates will be considered for Benefits/Paid Time Off after 3-months.
Requirements
- Millwright Journey level minimum of 4+ years of experience.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience.
- Appropriate journeyman experience is required.
- Regular attendance is required.

Responsibilities
- Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned craft workers.
- Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for area of supervision.
- Interpret company policies to workers, and enforce safety regulations.
- Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedule, using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned personnel.
- Study schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion of job.
- Analyze and resolve work problems.
- Maintain time records.
- Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
- Make decisions based on measurable information.
- Detect, recognize and respond to dangerous conditions or situations.
- Perform frequent safety inspections of work area, equipment, tools, and employees in accordance with SIC policy to ensure compliance with government regulations, customer requirements, and SIC’s safety program.
- Perform other duties as required.
