Millwright Foreman
About The Position
Conewago is hiring experienced millwrights and millwright foremen for a variety of installations involving process equipment, equipment packages, stand piping, rooftop installations, and threaded pipe such as gas piping or rigid conduit supporting regional infrastructure. The company seeks tradespersons with commercial millwright and pipe-foreman experience on large industrial projects who take pride in quality workmanship, solve complex installation challenges, and are ready to lead crews. Comprehensive training may be provided to the right candidate. Employees work on projects serving communities across Southern Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland. Compensation is competitive and based on experience, leadership ability, and technical expertise. Most work is scheduled during regular daytime hours, with occasional overtime or off-shift work to support facility shutdowns, maintenance activities, and critical project milestones. Benefits begin after a 45-day orientation period. A company vehicle is provided if hired at the foreman level.
Requirements
- Experienced tradesperson with commercial millwright and pipe-foreman experience on large industrial projects.
- Take pride in quality workmanship, enjoy solving complex installation challenges, and be ready to lead crews.

- Creative problem-solving in the field.
Nice To Haves
- Pump alignment experience.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
Responsibilities
- Lead millwright crews during equipment installations and shutdowns.
- Coordinate work activities with project managers and superintendents.
- Mentor apprentice and junior trades personnel.
- Assist with project layouts and installation planning.
- Maintain quality and safety standards on site.
